Like any library, the AIHEC Virtual Library is an organized collection of information that has been selected to meet the needs of a particular set of users. The "virtual" part of the term is meant to indicate that the information is on the Internet.
The AIHEC Virtual Library provides subject-based searching to selected internet resources. The primary focus is Native American resources.
EBSCO 
A Statewide Program to Offer Access to Information Resources
EBSCO Publishing offers a broad range of full text and bibliographic databases designed to meet the reference needs of all library types worldwide. EBSCO has designed its search interfaces to seamlessly interact with other electronic resources held in a library's collection -- effectively creating a one-stop research environment.
ELM 
Funded by the Minnesota Legislature to give Minnesota Residents access to Online Information Resources
ELM (Electronic Library for Minnesota) gives Minnesota residents online access to magazine, journal, and newspaper articles, eBooks (electronic books), and information from other reference sources.
ELM provides information on a vast array of topics, including consumer information, arts and humanities, current events, health, science, social science, politics, business, and more.
Endocrine Society Journals 
Online Access to Articles
The Endocrine Society is the world's largest and most active professional organization of endocrinologists in the world. Founded in 1916, the Society is internationally known as the leading source of state-of-the-art research and clinical advancements in endocrinology and metabolism. The Endocrine Society is dedicated to promoting excellence in research, education and clinical practice in the field of endocrinology. The Society publishes four major peer-reviewed journals about endocrinology and metabolism.
ERIC
A Digital Library of Education-related Resources
The Education Resouerces Information Center (ERIC), sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education, produces the world's premier database of journal and non-journal education literature. The ERIC online system provides the public with a centralized ERIC Web site for searching the ERIC bibliographic database of more than 1.1 million citations going back to 1966. More than 107,000 full-text non-journal documents (issued 1993-2004), previously available through fee-based services only, are now available for free.

Geological Society of America
A Three Year Program Providing Access to Students at Minority Institutions.
The program provides free online access to the Geological Society of America's Journals: Geosphere, Geology, and Bulletin.
GreenFILE
A bibliographic database of information about environmental concerns
GreenFILE indexes scholarly and general interest titles, as well as government documents and reports. This resource offers a unique perspective on the positive and negative ways humans affect the environment. Drawing on the connection between the environment and disciplines such as agriculture, education, law, health and technology, GreenFILE serves as an informative resource for anyone concerned about the issues facing our planet. The database contains nearly 300,000 records, full text for selected titles and searchable cited references for more than 200 titles as well.

“Minnesota Reflections” brings more than 5,000 photographs, postcards and stereographs of Minnesota from before 1909, contributed by more than 50 cultural heritage organizations, to people around the world. Each picture in “Minnesota Reflections” is a digital copy of an image from the early days of the state, accompanied by information about the image.
