eService Accounts

There are three electronic systems students will connect to while attending the college.

Student Account Access
Students can login to access information and conduct college processes online, such as registering for classes, checking financial aid status, monitoring their account billing, viewing grades, printing unofficial transcripts, etc.

This information is needed to login:
username: Student Identification Number (This is an eight-digit number.)

PIN or password: The student’s birth date in YYMMDD format. (For example, a student born on May 6, 1989, would enter 890506.) The system will force the student to change the password on the first login. Changing this password will not change any of the student’s other passwords.

Student Email Accounts
Email is the official form of communication at the college, and you should check your college email account daily for important notices and information. Your student email account also has a file storage area that is a convenient, safe and reliable location to store documents.

This information is needed to login:
username: lastname.firstname  (For example, Homer Simpson would use simpson.homer)
password: The student’s birth date in YYYYMMDD format. (For example, a student born on May 6, 1989, would enter 19890506.*

*Note: for students registered before March 2011, your initial password will be YYMMDD — 6 characters

Online Class Login
Most instructors will post course information and content online, or students may have courses that are entirely online.

This information is needed to login:
username: Student Identification Number (This is an eight-digit number.)
password: The student’s birth date in YYMMDD format. (For example, a student born on May 6, 1989, would enter 890506.) The system will force the student to change the password on the first login. Changing this password will not change any of the student’s other passwords.

Wireless Network Access
For your security and safety, the wireless network across campus is encrypted, requiring a username and password. We will gladly connect network devices (laptops, iPhones, etc.) to the network for staff, faculty, and registered students. The device must be capable of connecting to a WPA Enterprise network (Windows XP SP2, Windows Vista, Mac OS X, Linux, iPhone, etc.) In most cases, this only takes a few minutes to complete. Please stop by our office and we will connect your wireless device.

Star Alert

Star Alert is an emergency notification messaging system used by Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. The system uses text and email messaging to notify you of campus-related emergencies. In the event of an emergency, a text message will be sent to the cell number and/or an email will be sent to the email address provided.

Star Alert is an opt-in system and you must register in order to receive emergency alerts. Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College students are asked to sign-up for the Star Alert system.
