Don’t Hesitate to Ask Questions.
Be proactive and take control of your financial aid
process. If you don’t know what the next step is, ask.
If you don’t know what a form is, ask. If you don’t know
the status of your application, ask. The financial aid
system is based on federal and Minnesota state
regulations, and there are deadlines that must be met.
These deadlines are firm, and if you miss one, you may
not receive funding. So begin the financial aid process
early, read all the materials mailed to you, and ask if
you are unclear on your status.
