Welding Instructor
Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College is seeking an experienced and certified welder to instruct students in entry level and advanced welding skills. Responsibilities include curriculum development, implementation, management and teaching of welding technology. Instruction will prepare students to pass welding certification tests. This is a grant-funded adjunct position.
 
 
Job Qualifications:
  1. Must have experience teaching welding or other technical subjects/processes
  2. Must be able to teach interpretation of blueprints and drawings
  3. Must have curriculum development and classroom instruction experience
  4. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
  5. Must be able to use a variety of instructional strategies (lecture and hands on applications)
  6. Must be able to transfer knowledge to students
  7. Must have formal training in welding processes
  8. Must be able to maintain safety standards and practices
  9. Must be familiar with the test provisions for ASME pressure vessel code
  10. Must be familiar with certified Structural Welding qualifications
  11. Must be certified in Oxygen/Acetylene, Stick Electrode, MIG, Flux Core, and TIG welding processes
  12. Must be a certified pipe welder
  13. Welding project management and supervisory experience preferred
