| 3rd Annual Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation Golf Outing raised $17,500 |
| The 3rd Annual Golf Outing was held on Monday, September 26, 2005. More than 90 golfers and attendees made this a successful and fun event. THANK YOU to all of our wonderful sponsors, golfers and volunteers. Special thanks to major sponsors Damberg, Scott, Gerzina, Wagner Architects, FDL Reservation, Grand Portage, and the Duluth News Tribune. Congratulations to the champion team from Ameriprise Financial: Tyler Kocon, Paul Monson, Craig Swenson, and Mark Cool. | Biking Bob rides again for student scholarships |
 On Tuesday, August 23, Biking Bob Erickson rolled up to Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College on his fourth annual bike tour to raise scholarship funds for part-time college students. Erickson raised more than $228,000 in donations for student scholarships during his rides in 2002, 2003 and 2004. The stop in Cloquet was one of many for the day. Erickson and his biking friend, Howard Beane, a 74-year-old retired physician from Pennsylvania, started the day in Sandstone, made the campus visit in Cloquet, and then rolled through Duluth to their final destination for the day of Two Harbors. College President Don Day and other college staff and friends rode for 15 miles of the journey into Cloquet.Wells Fargo Bank of Cloquet kick-started local fundraising efforts with a $500 donation to the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Foundation.
