Get ready for pumpkins!
Join us for the 18th annual Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K, presented by the FDLTCC Child Development program’s Miskwaadesi Head Start Project, at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College on October 21, 2023. This year’s race will include a fun new option for all ages – the Ring Road Fun Run!
The Ring Road Fun Run will be a short race circling the beautiful Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College campus. The race will cover 1 lap of the campus’ ring road. Youth 10 and under are able to register for the Ring Road Fun Run for free. All registered participants will receive a t-shirt.
Lace up your running shoes and get ready for northern Minnesota’s oldest Halloween-themed race!
We invite runners and walkers will register to participate and make the Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K the fun and successful event as in previous years. The Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K and Ring Road is open to all interested runners and walkers.
Participants are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes or wear orange clothing to celebrate the theme of the race.
The Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K course starts and finishes at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. Essentially flat, the course features a fast downhill stretch with a return trip up the same hill. Mile markers will be posted and traffic control measures will be in place. No water stops on the course, but water will be available at the start and finish area of the race. Sorry, no strollers, roller skates, skateboards, baby joggers, bicycles, or pets are allowed on the 5K race course. This will be enforced on race day morning and anyone found violating this rule will be asked to leave the race course.
The Ring Road Fun Run takes place on the beautiful Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College campus. The short course will cover 1 lap of the ring road around the main campus building. Strollers and baby joggers are allowed for the Ring Road Fun Run. Sorry, no roller skates, skateboards, bicycles, or pets are allowed on the Ring Road Run Fun racecourse. This will be enforced on race day morning and anyone found violating this rule will be asked to leave the race course. Children 10 and under and invited to register for the Ring Road Fun Run for free. All registered participants will received a t-shirt.

The 18th annual Pumpkin Run & Walk 5K will start at 10:00am on Saturday, October 21.
The Ring Road Fun Run will start at 9:30am on Saturday, October 21.
Limited free parking is available on campus at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College. Overflow parking is available at Hilltop Park.
Packet pickup will be the morning of the race at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College.
